Ever since chernobyl disaster hit Ukraine, which was part of the Soviet Union in 1986, Belarus has suffered severe enviormental desturction and pollution, and that doesn’t seem to be better enough in 2015, which is the present. We spent over 20% of our national budget on cleaning these Radius-pollution, and thats a billion USD in total. Because of this, our country doesn’t have enough money to recover and try to focus on other industry we can make money with.
We, Belarus, have always tried to join the EU, and ask for the international fund to clean up the mess that SU had left for us. But it seems like no other countries are responsing, nor was our joining application accepted. In fact, EU always claims that Belarus is the most “dictate” state in the world. We do not take this. We held regular election and our president was voted legally. Since EU “dictactly” decided that we cannot join EU because we are executing a dictactish-semi-democracy, then we suggest to let us in anyway since one of the ultimate goal of EU is to try to unite, simplify, and modify the political issues and gouvernment. We are all “dictacting” others while we don’t think ourself are dictacting, isn’t it?
Therefore, as the representitive of Belarus, I strongly demand those countries which actually are in charge in the EU, do not keep demand on “industrial pollution” issues, since we spend 20% of our money on cleaing these pile of radius up, and have no extra money to maintain and develop those “eco-friendly” industrial. These toys belongs to you German, you France, not us. We understand that going green was, is, and will be necessary for our mother terra Earth, but before we try to keep up this kind of concern level, we need to maintain our economy first. Afterall, you have to know, we relay more on Russia then You Western Europe country, if we can get enough help from EU, maybe we can consider about lower our Carbon-dioxide producing amount and also trying to be more "democracy”. For reference, we have industrial on Mechanic, metals, Chem fertilizers, eletrical and also food industry. These are mostly High polluted on river, forest even more then air, but mind us to mention, Belarus only has a 1% water cover area, so there isnt water polluted, we admit that in some places there are some mildly and relatively heavy polluted of chemistry item such as Lithium and so on, but Comparing to Radius item, thats nothing. Totally nothing.
In our conclusion, we will repeat everything again with this sort-by-type ideas collection.
We kindly request for more fund from international, since Chernobyl Disaster wasn’t our fault at all.
We ask for joining EU with some condition, and also we are willing to make some changes if we feel your reliability.
We need funds to clean up the Radius, and trying to go green.
We have no severe water pollution, because we have no lakes and rivers at all.
We do have a relative serious problem on air and soil, but thats no big deal in front of Nucleus power.
